Over the last number of decades, the diversity of the medical community has increased to better represent the varied populations that we serve. This should also be reflected in our Continuing Medical Education (CME). Greater diversity and inclusion enhances and enriches the programs developed and delivered by bringing together voices from different backgrounds and perspectives. We should strive to address the inequities in CME and improve the diversity and inclusion of all groups in educational programs/events. I am committed to being part of the solution.
